Lee was born September 12, 1928 to Rose (Broenneke) and John Fleischman in Uniontown, WA He grew up in Uniontown, attending school there and later Pullman High School.

Lee enlisted in the Army Air Corp in October of '46 and was issued an honorable discharge in October of "49. He was a radar technician and was primarily stationed in Boca Raton, Florida.

After leaving the service, he returned to Pullman working at several grocery stores including Dissmore's and Trent's. He also worked for several area farmers.

September 12, 1952 he married Ruby Anderson from Genesee. When he asked her father if he could marry her, her dad said it was fine as long as she still came home and milked the cows every day. So, that was the arrangement and she milked cows until she found out she was pregnant in early '53 and her cow milking days were over.

Lee worked for the post office in Pullman, even delivering his own parents mail for a time. He later was the rural route carrier for Palouse, retiring in 1984.

After retirement he and Ruby enjoyed an active life living in Pullman in the summer and Sun City, Arizona in the winter.

They traveled the US in their motor home and visited all the sites. He enjoyed lawn bowling, golfing, biking and wood working. In 2010 they moved back to Pullman full-time.

Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Lillian, Hazel and Lois; and his brother, Roy.

At his request, there will be no service at this time. Interment will be at the Pullman City cemetery.
