Doris "Jean" Cunningham Manning of Rhodelia, passed on to her heavenly home on October 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 9, 1928 in Chenault, KY to Lee and Teresa Cunningham. They preceded her in death, as did her daughter, Victoria Anne Manning; her brothers, George Cunningham and Father Sebastian Cunningham; and her sister, Mary Lou Greaves.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Marion Manning; daughter, Peggy Harrison (Dennis) of Georgetown, IN; son, Scott Manning (Dee) of Hardinsburg, KY; stepdaughters, Charlotte Leach of Louisville, KY and Bobbi Ferguson of Mobile, AL; grandchildren: Shane Harrison (Kendra) of Georgetown, IN; Cody Manning (Tara) of Borden, IN; Barbara Manning of Illinois; and great-grandchildren: Ethan, Bradley, Tyler and Elainna. She also leaves behind a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, as well as her long-time, loving caregiver, Gerti Williams.

Jean enjoyed traveling, playing pinochle and euchre, watching football, spending time with family, and telling Marion what to do. Of course, he always listened…

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa of Avila in Rhodelia, KY, on Monday, October 30 at 11:00AM with burial to follow in St Theresa Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00PM - 8:00PM Sunday, October 29 and Monday, October 30 after 8:00AM at Bruington Jenkins-Sturgeon-Funeral Home, 198 Lawrence Street, Brandenburg, KY. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
