Mrs. Linnie Allen, age 91, of Forrest City, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Allen was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Cardwell, MO., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tucker.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She attended the Arkansas School for the Deaf, in Little Rock, and lived in Marianna, before moving to Forrest City, 16 years ago.

Mrs. Allen is survived by a daughter, Earline Beazley of Forrest City; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albertus Allen, in 1994; and two daughters: Augusta Lena Allen, in 1939, and Dorothy Allen McElduff, in 2003.

Visitation for Mrs. Allen will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, graveside at Hughes Cemetery, at 10 a.m., with Jim Beazley, officiating.
