Elmer E. Lindsey--December 27, 1968 Funeral services for Elmer E. Lindsey, farmer, merchant, and ginner, of Caldwell, were held at Stevens Funeral Home, in Forrest City, and burial was in Hughes Cemetery, with Stevens Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Lindsey, 66, died Friday at Baptist Hospital, in Memphis. He was born November 13, 1902, to William James Lindsey and Sarah Elizabeth (Sallie) Brown Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Busby Lindsey; two sons: Elmer B. Lindsey and James E. Lindsey; four daughters: Mrs. Willard Satterfield of West Helena, Mrs. Carroll Bishop of Fitchburg, Mass., Mrs. John T. Clark of Caldwell and Mrs. Noel Ferguson of Memphis; a brother, Mr. John Lindsey Sr.; three sisters: Mrs. Bruce Busby of Marianna, Mrs. Guy Proctor and Mrs. A. T. Burns of Forrest City.
