FILIPCHUK - On July 2nd, Mr. Sam Filipchuk of 12622 68 Street, passed away aged 79 years and two months. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna of Edmonton; two sons, reverend Fred Filipchuk of Rosenhead, California and Mukuta Filipchuk of Russia; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Memorial Chapel. Funeral services Saturday, July 4th at 9:30 a.m. at the Slavic Church of the Evangelical Christians (10163 117 Street). Reverend J. C. Kushnerik and Reverend Fred Filipchuk will officiate with interment in the family plot in Beechmount cemetery. Park Memorial Ltd. Funeral Administrators and Directors (The Chapel on the Boulevard).
