David Wayne O'Neal, age 53 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away October 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on July 27, 1964 in Guthrie to R.L. and Sharon (Eubanks) O'Neal.
David lived in Guthrie most of his life. He married Elaine Lahti on February 27, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was employed with Eriks Trucking and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. David was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association Eternal Flame Fighters and served as President. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing bass guitar and target practicing.
Survivors include his wife Elaine of the home in Guthrie, his 3 children, Todd O'Neal (Crystal) of Yukon, Bryon O'Neal (Lauren) of Oklahoma City and Mary Anne Brock (Brandon) of Moore; 3 step children, Michael Ross Calkins of Topeka, KS, Edward Earl Welch, Jr. of Manhattan, KS and Jeremy Matthew Welch of Guthrie; his siblings Donald O'Neal (Lisa) of Cheyanne, Richard O'Neal (Shelly) of Guthrie, Shari Yost (Damon) of Mulhall, Michael O'Neal (Stacy) of Sioux Falls, SD and Tracy O'Neal (Shelly) of Okemah. David is also survived by his grandmother Phern Eubanks of Guthrie and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandpa and nephew Dillan.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Don Gatlin and Pastor Mike Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrie Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
