Stevan Leon “Steve” Thompson, 57, of Paragould, died Wednesday at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. He was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Shipman Thompson; sister, Judy Howell, and his grandparents.

Survivors include his father, Leon Thompson of Paragould; sons, Sean Thompson, Wesley Shipman, Charlie Smith and Brandon Thompson all of Paragould; daughters, Ashley Thompson of Trumann, Stormy Thompson of Marmaduke, Miranda and Brittney Thompson of Hardy; sisters, Faye (Morris) Hatcher and Debbie (Dennis) Davis both of Paragould; brother, Danny Thompson of Paragould; grandchildren, Hailee Vanhorn, Noah Waldrum, Brayden Ludwig, Payton Ludwig, Kayden Thompson, Aiden Thompson and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. at Linwood Cemetery with Rev. Robert Owens officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lowe, Paul Arrington, Charlie Smith, Gary Ivy, Colby Thompson, and William White. Honorary pallbearers are Sean Thompson and Brandon Thompson.
