She had a lifelong love for music playing violin in the Fort Dodge String Symphony and Messiah Orchestra, sang with the Sweet Adeline's quartet, played the keyboard with a gospel group and played quitar.
She is survived by her children, Cathy(Dave)Harry; Linda (Dave) Chambersburg, and Michael, five grandchildten and four great-grandchildren, sister Connie (Larry) Koester, brother Terry (Cheryl) Allen and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers Jay and Rick Allen.
