Isabella Strong, 93, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday, July
30, 1989 at Shady Lane Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday at
Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two rivers. Rev. Kim Henning will
officiate and burial will be in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Strong was born January 22, 1896 at Two Rivers, daughter of the
late Charles L. and Harriet LaFond Gauthier. She married William J.
Strong, August 7, 1915 at Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death
December 21, 1965. Mrs. Strong was a member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Tom White of
Superior, Wisconsin; three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Henfer of Two Rivers,
Mrs. Andrienne Richmond of Two Rivers and Mrs. Nora Manthey of
Manitowoc; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 6
pm to 8 pm Tuesday.

Marriage of William/Isabella Strong

The marriage of Wm Strong and Isabelle(sic) Gauthier took place at
Municipal Court, Manitowoc, Saturday. The groom is a son of Peter
Strong, the smithy at the Aluminum Goods Co. The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Chas Gauthier. The couple will make their home in this city
where Mr. Strong is employed in the Aluminum industry. Upon the arrival
of the couple Monday night they were serenaded at their home by the city
band.
