Mr. Deal was born in McLean County, Illinois in 1879. He was unmarried and lived with his brother, Frank on a farm which they purchased not long ago. He was taken ill with acute peritonitis on Thursday and grew rapidly worse. He was a young man of highest character, straightforward and loved by a large circle of friends. Besides his father and mother he leaves seven brothers and five sisters, all of whom are married, except one sister, at home.
