GANADO - Rex Sims, 93, of Ganado passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Rex was born in Provident City on August 18, 1924
to Charlie Clark Sims and Rosie Hassett Sims, Rex was one of nine children. Rex was married to Mattie Dee Young and together they raised their two children. Rex served his country in the US Navy during WWII.
Rex is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mattie Dee Young Sims, and two brothers and one sister.
There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:30 am at Ganado City Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Carpenter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a memorial contribution be made to the Ganado American Legion Post 346.
Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, 800 S. Third St. Ganado, TX 77962, 361-771-2120.
