Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Mary B. Hubner, 90, of Sartell who passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Flensburg.
Mary was born on September 13, 1927 in Flensburg, Minnesota to the late John and Mary (Mandulak) Harakel. She married John Hubner on May 14, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg and moved to Sartell in 1962. She was a homemaker all of her life enjoying gardening, crafts, flowers and sewing. Mary was also an excellent cook. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish.
Mary loved spending time at the cabin with family and friends and spending time on the lake fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Bob) Blenkush of Sartell.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2009; and brothers, John Jr. and George Harakel; and sister, Helen Prozinski.
A heartfelt thank you to the staffs of The Landing, St. Croix Hospice and Medical Progressive Care Unit 2 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
