Carolyn Allen, 74, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Joe Coombes, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Carolyn was born on June 24, 1943 in Burkburnett, Texas to the late Quinton Lee Howard and Marilyn Frances (Ramming) Howard Roddy. She worked for First National Bank for many years. Carolyn was an avid reader and loved being with her family.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Howard.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Allen of Burkburnett; her daughters, Stacy Smith-Allen, and Kimberly Olds; her step-daughters, Brenda Nichols and husband Joe, and Connie Cook and husband Joey; her grandsons, Addison Heddins, and Justin Cook; her granddaughters, Jennifer Twilligear, Alicia Mulhare, Misty Moon, and Nikki Cook; and ten great-grandchildren.
