Ray Lavon Edwards, 74, of Eudora, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his home.
Lavon was born June 16, 1943 in Arkansas to the late Clifford and Joyce Evelyn Dotson Edwards who preceded him in death.
Lavon was a member of Indian Switch Assembly of God Church in Eudora.
Lavon is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Sue Smith Edwards of Eudora; a daughter, Pam Neal and her husband, Howard Jr. of Oak Grove, Louisiana; four brothers, Robert Edwards and his wife Carolyn of Eudora, Sammy Edwards and his wife, Lois of Mountainberg, Lawrence Edwards & Bo Edwards of Eudora; four sisters, Ruby Moore of Eudora, Joyce Walker and her husband Jack of Monroe, Louisiana, Shirley Rotton and her husband, Joel of Parkdale, and Patsy Austin and her husband Emmett of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Michael Hosak and his wife, Vikki of Eudora, Christina Carpenter and her husband, Bubba of Hamburg, Steven Hosak & Nathan Hosak both of Eudora; three great-grandchildren Riley Carpenter, Ray Carpenter, and Jase Hosak, and a host of friends and family who will miss him.
A private memorial service will be held a later date.
