Baptised Elizabeth Albone daughter of James Albone and Sarah Miller 13 June 1794 at St Andrew's Parish Church . Albone or variations of this name were given as middle names to a son and granddaughter.

Pigot's Marriage Record transcribes surname on marriage to Uriah Johnson 19th January 1815 at St. Mary's Church, Bedford as Halberd.

Elizabeth and Uriah named eldest son Edward Albone Johnson and their youngest son David Miller Johnson evidently the surnames of Elizabeth's parents.

Headstone shows incorrect age at death as is at odds with 1841, 1851, Workhouse and birth dates.

Gravesite Details

Headstone lies completely flat on the ground. It appears to have spent a long time like that although I suspect it would originally have been upright. There is more inscription on the bottom half of the headstone but is difficult to decipher.
