Richard Hugh "Fuzzy" Scruggs, age 51, of Woodruff, SC, died on Wednesday, August 16, 2006, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.


Born in Spartanburg on January 25, 1955, son of Franklin Dwight Scruggs and Lillie Bridges Scruggs; husband of Janet Moore Scruggs.


Attended Dorman High School, was a Christian by faith, his biggest hobby was NASCAR, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.


Also survived by a daughter, Crystal Scruggs; sister, Teresa Crow (Gene); maternal grandmother, Lois Bridges; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.


Also predeceased by a son, Chris Scruggs; and a sister, Sheila Fuller.


The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, August 18, 2006, at Dunbar Funeral Home.


Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 19, 2006, in the Lanford-Dunbar Chapel with Rev. Don Moore presiding; burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.


Memorials could be made to the Victory Junction Gang, Randleman, NC.
