Dr. Morgan J Foster 75 of Cedar Rapids and a retired pediatrician died in Cedar Rapids Hospital Friday. He was born August 25th 1897 at Wellman, Iowa. He was married to Francis Hansen, October 19th 1929 in Iowa City. He was a veteran of World War 1. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Doctor Foster did graduate work in Chicago in 1924 and 1925. He served his internship at Children's Hospital in Iowa City and served his residency at the Physician City Hospital, Cleveland. He was a member of the Saint Paul's United Methodist Church. In addition he was a member of the Iowa Medical Society, and American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, past president of the Iowa Pediatric Society, the Mercy Hospital staff and had served as the president of St Luke's staff and the county Medical Society. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter Julie Foster Van Camp, Stanford Connecticut; two brothers Dr. Wayne Foster of Cedar Rapids and Dr. Warren Foster of Clinton and six grandchildren
