PRESTON — Alfred Arthur Drake, 59, of RR 1, Paris, Ont., died Friday night at Brantford, Hospital. Mr. Drake was born in England and lived in Preston for many years. He was employed at Eastern Steel Products Company. He lived in Paris for the past two years, Surviving are his wife, the former Jeanette Bell, two sons, John of London and Albert of Preston: two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Alice) Narum and Mrs. Elverne (Joan) Schwartzentruber, both of Preston: three brothers, Jack of London, Bert of Thorold and Bramwell of Preston; one sister, Mrs. John (Margaret) Lethbridge of Galt; five grandchildren. His first wife, the former Alice Grumble, died in 1943. The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home where service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Park lawn Cemetery Preston.
