Madelle Griffith made her way to her reward in the kingdom of God on March 6, 2007. She was born Sept. 1, 1924 to Elias and Prudie Creech in Robert Lee. She was the youngest of 15 children.

She married Jimmy P. Griffith, March 14, 1942, and was soon to celebrate her 65th wedding anniversary. Their marriage was one of love and admiration for each other. It will be remembered and celebrated as the design God intended it to be.

Madelle was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters with the exception of a sister, Jessie Harmon of Robert Lee.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Douglas of Lubbock and Duane of Ft. Worth. Two grandchildren, Isaac and Erika also brought great joy to her life.
