Carl J. Bloir, 24, died in the Macon County Tuberculosis Sanatorium at noon Thursday. He had been in failing health for the past five years.
He was born in Decatur April 28, 1911, and had been a resident of Decatur all of his life. His mother, Mrs. John Bloir, preceded him in death.

He leaves his father, John Bloir of Peoria and the following brothers and sisters: Virgil Bloir, Bennie Bloir and Mrs. Della Tipsword, of Decatur. He also leaves his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Bloir of Decatur.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m.Saturday in the Moran & Sons chapel, where friends may call. Burial will be in North Fork cemetery.
