Early Life: LeRoy was born August 5, 1959, in Saint Helens, Oregon, to Ralph “W” and Retta Elaine Hill Taylor. In 1977, he graduated from Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: He spent many years as a Security Officer for Pinkerton at Intel Corp in Chandler, Arizona. At the time of his passing, LeRoy was working at SnugZ USA in West Jordan, Utah. He enjoyed working there with many friends and alongside his niece, Melissa. He enjoyed going to the races; whether it be the Trailers, Jet Car Drags, or NASCAR. LeRoy was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved Arizona Cardinals Football and Phoenix Suns Basketball. He liked going to the Salt Lake Bees games with family and friends. He appreciated the times spent with his brother, Wendell, at wrestling matches and Sunday dinners with his brother, Don. Even though he did not carry a gun or hunt, LeRoy loved the mountains and went on many hunting and camping trips with his family. If he wasn’t home, chances are you’d find him up Diamond Fork at the “Ranch”. Bowling and crossword puzzles were some of his favorite pastimes. LeRoy loved going to family reunions and being with family. He liked the fact that he shared a birthday with his Aunt Eva and the two of them would joke and prank each other every year! He was a people person and enjoyed helping and serving others. LeRoy spent many years caring for his mother. He loved making people laugh and putting smiles on their faces. Ross LeRoy Taylor passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at his home in Midvale, Utah. He was 58.

Survived By: His siblings: Don (Marion) Taylor, Springville, UT; Wendell (Merlene) Taylor, Kearns, UT; Bonnie (Fred) Young, Boardman, OR; Ricky (Lori) Taylor, West Jordan, UT; Lyle Taylor, Pendleton, OR; Clay (Shiree) Taylor, Vernal, UT; and many nieces and nephews.
