DAVENPORT- Jeanne L. Houk, 76, of Davenport, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus in Davenport.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Douds, Iowa.
Jeanne was born September 20, 1941, in Douds, a daughter of Gerald and Catherine Amanda (Roberts) Weir. She was united in marriage to Paul E. Houk Sr. on October 5, 1957, in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Paul; her daughters, Gena Heritage of Davenport, Nikki (John) Madison of Andalusia, Illinois, and Lezlie Lombardi of Moline, Illinois; her sons, James (Andrea) Houk of Davenport, and John (Tarah) Houk of Rock Island; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Charles Michael (Janice) Weir of Davenport, Gerald Weir of Butte, Montana, and John (Brenda) Miller of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Paul Houk Jr.; her sisters, Jacqueline Burns, Jerolyn Byrd and Pegi McKittrick; her brothers, James Weir and Steve Miller; and an infant sister, Joy Marlene Weir.
