Albert Batts, 86, died on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at his residence in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Saturday, September 12, 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Will Batts and the late Mary Williams Batts. He was a retired employee of Leaf Candy Company. He served in the U S Army and he was a Korean War Veteran. He was the husband of Betty Bradford Batts, also surviving are daughters, Clara Foster (Jerry) and Angela Batts, sister, Dorothy Clariette, three grandchildren, Barry Foster, Stephen Foster and Cedric Foster and one great-granddaughter, Jaela Foster. The visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM on Thursday, October 12, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home.
