She was born in Blackduck, MN. and lived most of her life in Littlefork, MN. She graduated from Littlefork High School in 1939.
Muriel was employed by the local telephone company in Littlefork and Int'l Falls as a switchboard operator for thirty years; she retired in 1980.
She was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary. She loved fishing, picking berries, spending time at her cabin on Lake Kabetogama and gardening. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed music.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Hattie (Moon) Mueller, son John Tolle (1987) and a sister Kay Ingram.
Muriel is survived by her daughter; Pam (Mike) Jonson of Silver Bay, MN, son; Kim Mueller of Anchorage, Alaska, three grandchildren; Ron (Barb) Jonson of Silver Bay, Lee Ann (Dave) Longmore of Chaplin, MN.,and Michael (Julie) Jonson of Two Harbors, MN, two sisters; Lucille Mustol of Loss Angelis, CA. and Virginia Hoff of Silver Bay.and several nieces and nephews.
A time of Prayer and Remembrances will be held on Friday September 12, 2003 at 7:00 pm. from St. Columbans Catholic Church in Littlefork, MN.
