Alphonsus Patrick Smith, 68, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 9:20 a.m. March 30 following a four month illness.
Born in York County, he was a son of the late Alphonsus T. and Joanna Smith. He was the husband of Nettie Miller Smith, who died July 11, 1963. Mr. Smith was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and was a retired tool and die maker.
Among his survivors are three brothers, Stephen B. Smith, McSherrystown; Walter B. Smith, York, and James Smith, Va., three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Hagerman and Mrs. Kathryn Hagerman and Mrs. Helen Shell, York.
