Scott Gardner Mason, 52, died Friday, October 6, 2017 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland with burial following in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.

Scott was born on October 2, 1965, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Richard C. Mason and Lynne Riser Denham. A lifelong resident of Jackson, he graduated from Wingfield High School. Scott worked as a commercial mover and previously worked with his family business Joker’s Tavern. Scott was an avid Ole Miss Football fan. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be most remembered as a devoted and loving father, a beloved son, brother and friend.

Survivors include his mother, Lynne Riser Denham of Brandon; daughters, Haley Mason Dean of Brandon; Lillian Rose Mason of Mendenhall and their mother, Shanna Williams of Florence. Scott is survived by his precious grandchildren, Addyson and Brantlee Dean; sister, Rebel Mason Clark of Byram; sister, Dixie Mason Moss of Brandon and nieces and nephews, Adrienne, Jonathan, Tiffany, and Victoria.
