"June 4.---Charles Petteys, who has been at the Binghamton hospital for some time, died at that institution Friday, aged 73 years. His remains were brought to Central Bridge by Undertaker F. R. Farquhar and the funeral was held on Monday at 2 o'clock at his late home. Interment in the family lot in the Valley cemetery. Mr. Petteys is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Allen, of Charleston Four Corners, and two brothers, Richard of Sloansville and Lewis of Charleston Four Corners."
