A visitation will be 2 p.m. Sunday Oct 8 at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 West Market St., following with a memorial service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Wayne A. Shamer officiating. Full military rites will be presented by the York County Veteran Honor Guard at the funeral home prior to the service. A private burial will take place in Greenmount Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Yingling was born June 22, 1933 in Dover Township, a son of the late Robert N. and Catherine A. (Weikert) Yingling.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Harold Yingling, Robert Yingling, Rosella Garber, John Yingling, Ruth Stough, Donald Yingling, William Yingling, and Kenneth Ruppert. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Retired from First Capitol Wire and Cable, he loved spending time with his family, following politics, and was an avid music and animal lover.
Thomas is survived by his daughters, Michelle Y. Weaver and Kelly L. Cool; grandchildren, Danielle N. Ensor, Edward C. Yingling, Nicole E. Duble, Ashley M. Yingling, Sophie L. Cool, and Brandon M. Yingling; great-grandchildren, Evan, Colten, Ashlynn, Ravyn, Alice, Willow, Keira, Fiona, Riley, and Zaine; brothers, Daniel and Glenn Yingling; nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Imp.
