SPRING GROVE Donald R. Yingling, 82, died Sunday, September 2, 2007, at his home. A brief memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cremation Direct Service Crematory, 371 Kings Mill Road, York. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York, is entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Yingling was born July 5, 1925, a son of Robert N. and Addie (Weickert) Yingling. He had been employed as a truck driver with Branch Trucking Company. He served in the U.S. Maritime Service during WWII. Mr. Yingling is survived by two brothers, Robert Yingling of Dover and Thomas Yingling of Codorus. He was a great friend to Sheila Roelke who cared for him for 14 years.
