Nancy Carole Hicks, 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home in Wildwood, GA with her family by her side. She was born July 3, 1937 in Hazel Green, AL to the late Woodrow and Irene Williamson. She retired from Coors Electronics in Chattanooga after many years of service. Nancy enjoyed reading, bird watching and spending time with her family. She was an awesome mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hicks.

Left to cherish her memory are sons and daughters-in-law, James (Cathy), Tim (Cindy), Mark (Andria); grandsons, Chris, Chad, Tony and Tyler Hicks; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ty, and Haylee Hicks; sister, Elouise Brazer; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Simmons officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Friday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cindy Moorehead and the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care and love they gave.
