Mr. Edward Everette Judah, age 80, a resident of Clayton (formerly of Midland City and Newton), passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday October 5, 2017 at the Adams Chapel United Methodist Church (453 Co. Rd. 67, Clayton, AL) with Chaplain Bryan Simoneaux officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Air Force Honors and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday prior to services at the church from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Mr. Judah was born on July 6, 1937 in Dale County the son of Byron and Gussie Peacock Judah. He graduated from Newton High School in 1955.

Mr. Judah retired as maintenance manager with the Alabama Federal State Inspection Services.

He was a member of Newton Methodist Church.

Mr. Judah served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Earl Gene and Billie McCraney; brother-in-law Tuck Stone; and infant grandson Wade Vernon Judah.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years Yvonne McCraney Judah, Clayton; a son Leslie Dwain Judah (Paula) of Colbert, WA; 3 daughters Letha Dawn Judah of Prattville, Jeannie Eddins (Lance) of Auburn and Genesee Cook (Brad) of Auburn; 2 brothers Henry Judah (Pearl) and David Judah (Nell) both of Newton; a brother-in-law Mickey McCraney (Wanda) of Clayton; a sister-in-law Shirley Stone of Opelika; 7 grandchildren Byron Judah and Janise Judah of Colbert, WA, Emilee Cook, Sydnee Cook, Marlee Cook, Lane Eddins, Ivy Eddins all of Auburn.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Judah, Joe Judah, Russell Stone, Bryan Stone, Michael McCraney and Weylin McCraney.
