Myrtle Elizabeth Webber Rose, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, March 19, 1981, in the Spartanburg Convalescent Center.
A native of Spartanburg County; daughter of Edward Ernest Webber (1866–1949) and Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Collins Webber (1876–1966); wife of James Rowan Rose (1883-).
A member of Trinity United Methodist Church, former Sunday School teacher, member of Golden Age Club, and a graduate of Lander College.
Survived by a daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Pierce; brother Boyce Webber; sister Clara Knutz; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10:30 am, Saturday, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Clarence D. Williams.
Family received friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Memorials could be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
