Walter Charlie Webb (1931 - 2017)
Walter Charlie Webb Sr. 86, of Amarillo passed away September 29, 2017. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors 5400 Bell Ave. Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Greg Kinch officiating. Services are under the direction of Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors 5400 Bell St.

Walter served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He met and married the love of his life Rachel Weaver. He was a hardworking man who lived life to the fullest. "He said what he meant and meant what he said". His family was very important to him. He was a member of South Lawn Baptist Church for over 65 years. Walter will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Webb, his parents and granddaughter Michelle Drew.

He is survived by his children Kathy Sweney and husband Bill, Julie Evers and Walter Webb Jr. Grandchildren Tyler Hobson and husband Joshua; Adam Sweney, Madison Evers and Sydney Evers. His great grandchildren Logan, Laynie, Jude and Jack Hobson and Steffan Evers.
