Rachel Webb, 83, of Amarillo died Friday, March 31, 2017. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mrs. Webb was born June 28, 1933, in Darwin, Okla. She married the love of her life, Walter Webb, on July 3, 1952.Rachel loved her children and loved spending time with them. She was a lifelong member of South Lawn Baptist Church and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Drew. Survivors include her husband, Walter Webb; her children, Kathy and husband Bill Sweney, Julie Evers and Walter Webb Jr.; her grandchildren, Tyler and husband Joshua Hobson, Adam Sweney and Madison and Sydney Evers; and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Laynie, Jude and Jack Hobson and Steffan Evers. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, Amarillo, TX.
