Lafayette, LA - Funeral services for Colby James Martin, 26, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. Eddie Briery will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will follow funeral services with military honors at Forest Park West.
Colby was born April 7, 1991 in Bossier City, LA and went to be with his Lord and Savior September 29, 2017. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Betty Ann Elliott; father, J.D. Martin; brothers, Jerad Douglas Rodgers and Hunter Christian Martin; aunts, Vanessa Langley, Brenda Gautreaux, Aunt Sissie and Uncle Brother; cousins, Arron Moyer, Jeremy Moyer, Anny Disotel, Kayla Hood, Joshua Uzzle, Allen Gautreaux, Nina Wills, Alyssa Hodges, and Madison Hodges and Colby's girlfriend, Shelia Runion.
