Posting on Death: 34th Infantry Training Battalion, his death was accidental.
He died of injuries accidentally received during training exercises involving a Machine Gun carrier on the road between Mitta North & Eskdale, approx 4 miles from Eskdale.
He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in Aldagte Sth Aust, also his name is located at panel 78 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial (as indicated by the poppy on the plan).
