Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia, for Billy Ray Kelly, 69, of Lumberton, who passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at his residence. Interment will be in Baxterville Cemetery. Bro. Ron Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Hathorn Funeral Home.

As a long-time resident of Lamar County, Bill had a lifelong love for flying. He had a private pilots license. He loved his country and served faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Carl Davis & Margaret Ellen Kelly; and his two Sisters, Katie Mae Ashcraft, Christine Lewis.

He is survived by his Wife of nearly 30 years, Pamela S. Kelly, Lumberton; four Daughters, Sara Kelly, Paducah, Kentucky, Glenda Moya, Colorado, Kimberly Kelly (Jesse), Lumberton, Dustie Smith (Jonathan), Lumberton; three Sons, Billy R. Kelly, Jr. (Kelly), Halls, Tennessee, Bradley Kelly (Ruby), Petal, Brandon Ray Kelly, Lumberton; one Step-Son, Johnathon B. Singley (Bridggett), Oak Grove; one Brother, Carl Kelly, Jr., Kosciusko; 19 Grandchildren; and 1 Great Grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Kelly, Dustin Herrin, Kenneth Kelly, Doug Kelly, Jonathan Smith, and Jesse Easterling. Honarary Pallbearers wil be Hunter Singley and Jacek Smith.

Hathorn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
