Adele Lillian Adams, nee Mack, age 84, of River Forest, formerly Bellwood, died on Sunday July 19. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman Adams, loving mother of Cary, the late Paul, Chris (Gay), and Carla (Fred) Hervert; adoring grandmother of Kelsey, Taylor and Paul Kai. A life-long lover of music, Adele was a pianist and a piano teacher. Despite battling cancer for 17 years, she remained very active traveling, attending concerts and the Lyric Opera, playing with her bridge group, enjoying many friendships and most of all, spending time with her family, who will miss her dearly. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 22 at St. Luke Church (760 W. Lake Street, River Forest, IL 60305). The family will be available to greet guests at 9:30 a.m. with mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Private interment at a later date.
