He was born in Oklahoma City but left at an early age, only to return with his family in 1979, where he immediately went to work for All State Electric Motors where he remained employed as a Shop Supervisor until his medical retirement.
Rickey was an avid camper and boater and his favorite lake was Lake Murray where he spent many weekends with his wife and family.
Preceding him in death: his father, Raymond Henderson, Sr., his stepfather John Benford and brothers Raymond and Robin.
Survivors include his wife Cindy Henderson of the home, his mother Ruth Benford, children Tamani Stevenson, Tehuti (Sheralle) and Tanika Henderson, all of OKC, brothers Shaki in Denver, CO and Gerald in Sacramento, CA, 5 grandchildren.
