Dickie, Anna Elizabeth, 83, Truro, Colchester County, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with her family by her side. Born in Selma, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Archibald) Whidden. Anna and her husband Peter owned and operated Glooscap Farms, Lower Onslow. She enjoyed painting with her friends and had a great love for animals.

She is survived by her sons Tony (Gail) of East Mountain, David (Karen) of Masstown; grandchildren Jason, Jacob, Matthew, Thomas; great-grandson Ethan; brother Ross (Vicki) of St. Catherine’s, ON; sister Joan Johnson of Mattatall Lake; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband Peter Edwin Dickie; sister, Alice.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation or funeral service by Anna’s request. Burial will take place at a later date in the Onslow Clarke Cemetery, Lower Onslow. Donations in memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to a charity of choice.
