Mary Louise Mathiesen, 92, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Marshfield Medical Complex.
Per the family wishes, a private family service for Mary will be held in Stratford.

Mary was born on September 14, 1925 in Wausau, to Walter and Anne (Holzem) Kickbusch.

She married the love of her life Raymond on October 8, 1949 and they enjoyed many years of happiness until his death in 1992.

Mary was primarily a homemaker, and had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Packers. In addition, she loved to play cards, go for walks, crocheting, canning, and volunteering at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish. She cherished the memories of her golf trips with her husband and the traveling they did together.

She was a loving mother, always providing home cooked meals, and was a proud grandmother. Her family especially appreciated her wonderful baked goods and will forever remember the variety of cookies she made at Christmas time.

Mary is survived by her children Ross, Jan Landwehr, Tom, Rob, and Kay Mathiesen-Viergutz. She is also survived by her brothers Dale Kickbush.

Mary was predeceased by her parents and her husband, as well as her brother Jim Kickbush and sister Annabelle Berard.
