Nettie Jean Edwards, 92, of Springfield passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Village, Girard. She was born November 19, 1924 in Cantrall, the daughter of Ralph and Martha Underwood Wilcoxon.
She married Harold V. Edwards on Jan. 6, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1997.
She was also, preceded in death by one brother, James Wilcoxon.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy and Linda ; one son, Harold; six grandchildren,; five great-grandchildren,; one brother, Nathan ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
