He was born on March 26, 1946 to Donald and Elizabeth Richardson. He is survived and loved by his 2 sons, his 6 grandchildren, and his great-grandson.
Also surviving are his Mother and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition, he is survived by his special companion in life, Tonda and her family.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Donald Richardson, his sisters, Janet Cox, Ida Satterfield, and an infant brother.
He was a 1964 graduate of Piketon High School, and proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a retired worker from the USEC Corporation.
Floyd was a devoted and caring person who enjoyed farming, being in the outdoors and especially his family and friends. His wisdom and honesty will always be remembered and cherished.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ronnie Hines officiating. Burial will follow at the Hamman Church Cemetery with military graveside services provided by the American Legion Merritt Post #142 of Waverly. The family will receive family and friends at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
