 Anna Belle Snow age 93 of Strunk, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home. 

She was born on July 28, 1924 in Redfield, South Dakota to the late Max Crossland and Anna (Kimble) Crossland. Her husband, Glen Morris Snow, a daughter, Ann Wooten, brothers, Emory, Robert, Herbert, Jimmy, and Harvey Crossland, sisters, Dorothy Dejaynes, Avis Dennis, and Ester Schimier, and a grandson, Gabriel also precede her in death. 
Surviving family include her sons, Glen Snow and wife, Rita, of Pita, California, and Darryl Snow of Sterling, Illinois; a daughter Jean Duncan and husband, Mickey, of Strunk, Kentucky, grandchildren, Stacie and Justin of Springfield, Tennessee, Rachel Deuney of Danville, Kentucky, William Jumtumen of Whitley City, Glen and Lisa Jumtumen of Whitley City, Greg and Missy Klett also of Whitley City, Joshua and Gina Taylor of Pine Knot, and Hannah Stephens of Pine Knot; and great-grandchildren, Alecia, Bethany, Austin, Matthew, Kincade, Greg Jr., MaryAnn, and Christine. 

Growing up, Anna was raised in Sterling, Illinois where she had served as choir director at the Mennonita Church and had volunteered as a nurse for the Amatuer Boxing Association. Anna had also worked at the Counsel House, a house for mentally handicap men as well as the Katherine Bethea Shaw Hospital in Dixon, Illinois where she retired as an LPN.  She loved to garden, taking care of flowers and vegetables. Anna was an avid western book reader and enjoyed watching professional football, especially the Green Bay Packers. After moving to Kentucky with her daughter, she became a member of the Word of God Church in Jesus Name. 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Murray Wilson Cemetery with Bro. Mitchell Bunch officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 2:00 pm at the Pine Knot Funeral Home.
