Colonel Robert M. Keller, age 71 of Madison, died at home on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, of heart failure

Bob was born April 2, 1943, in Wild Rose, to parents Emmanuel and Anita Keller. He had fond memories growing up in a large family of seven brothers and four sisters. He graduated from Wautoma High School and joined the U.S. Army in 1967. He received a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. Upon his return to the United States, he dedicated himself to military service and completed college. He served with distinction until he retired in 1997. Bob loved to fish, hunt and golf. However, spending time with his wife, Dixie; family; friends; and grandchildren, Mathew and Hannah; was his passion. Bob is known for being selfless, good natured and big-hearted.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation and brief memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at DOOR CREEK CHURCH, 6602 Dominion Dr, Madison, (off Sprecher Rd.). Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to Door Creek Church "Benevolence Fund" at 6602 Dominion Dr, Madison, WI 53718.
