Prince, David: Was born May 22 1791; died November 21 1873 in Payson Illinois; married April 18 1815 in Brooklyn Connecticut, Sophia Ellsworth, who was born August 13 1794 in East Hartford Connecticut. She was the fifth child of Daniel and Mary (Abbot) Ellsworth; died May 3, 1865, in Payson Illinois, of acute pneumonia.

Children.

David, born June 21 1816; married first, Mary Jane Dawson.

Sophia Ellsworth, born June 25 1818; married December 24 1840 in Payson Illinois, Samuel M. "Helme;" died October 23 1844 at Payson, of acute pneumonia.

Mary Abbot, born April 17 1820 in Canadaigua New York; married April 26 1842 in Payson Illinois, Daniel Robbins, who was born October 15 1813 in Plymouth New Hampshire.

John Ellsworth, born February 14 1825; died August 23 1825.

Prudence Ann, born October 19 1826.

Edward, born in West Bloomfield New York, December 8 1832; graduated from Illinois College in 1852; was a lawyer until 1861; Cavalry drill master 1861 and Colonel of the 7th Illinois Volunteers; civil engineer after the war; member of American Society of Civil Engineers. He married in Quincy Illinois September 24 1867, Mary Virginia Arthur, who was born October 18 1840 in St. Clair county Illinois, and was daughter of James Arthur and Mary Reed.
