Cecil Weldon Launius, 82, husband of 34 years to Margaret Barkley Launius, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his home.

Born in Holly Springs, AR, he was a son of the late Nollie Lafayette Launius and Mary Elizabeth Walker Launius.

Mr. Launius was a kind and gentle man, who loved and served the Lord. He was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church. He proudly served and retired from the U. S. Air Force and National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Algie, Noland, N.L. and Farrell Launius and a sister, Evalina Mizell.
