Florence L. McGraw, 97, of West Lafayette, formerly of Goodland, IN, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2:07 am, in Cumberland Pointe, West Lafayette, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Leo & Louise Kramer Klemme, and a graduate of the Freeland Park High School, class of l938, and a graduate of the Martins School of Cosmetology. She worked as a beautician in Oxford, IN and Fowler, IN for several years, and during the war she worked making ammunition during the war. Florence enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, baking, family dinners, and at times was a real jokester. One of the sons said she was Mom and a real Mom for 72 years.

On February 10, 1945 in Dunnington, IN, she married the love of her life, John E. McGraw, and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2005 in Goodland, IN. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Goodland, IN, Altar Rosary Society, Grant II Home Ex Club, Eurche Club & Pinocle club, and organized the Fox-E Ladies Red Hat Society. She is survived by two sons; three daughters; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, one brother; and one sister-in-law. Florence was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
