MR. WILLIAM T. "Bill" ALLRID

Mr. William T. "Bill" Allrid, age 75, of Morrow, passed away, Wednesday, October 4, 2006, after a short illness. He was born April 8, 1931 to the late James Barber Allrid, Sr. and the late Pearl Jones Allrid.

Bill served with the U.S. Marines aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Oriskany during the Korean War. He was employed by Colonial Stores/Big Star for fifty plus years and was presently employed by Riteway Company.

Bill was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Fayette County. He was a loving husband and loving father. Mr. Allrid is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Cross Allrid, daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Randy Gullion; two grandsons, Will and Ben Gullion, all of Lawrenceville, one sister, Anne Allrid Reynolds of Fayetteville, brother-in-law Charlie Cross of Roswell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 11 AM at Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Highway 314, Riverdale, GA 30296, with Dr. Randy Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.

Flowers accepted or donations can be made to the church in his memory.
