TRENTON -- Tanya Davis, 20, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, in Portsmouth, Va., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was in the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her mother, Shelia Palmer of Trenton; and her father, Iven Davis of Ider, Ala.; one twin sister, Tiffany Davis, Ider; one brother, Bryan Davis, Trenton; maternal grandparents, Betty Palmer, Trenton, Noel Palmer, Rainsville, Ala.; paternal grandfather, Ira Davis, Ider; paternal great-grandmother, Martha Shrader, Flat Rock, Ala.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EST Sunday in the Ryan Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. until funeral time on Sunday.
Arrangements are at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
